FAQ Lawn Care Questions
What is included in the lawn cutting service?
All lawn areas are mowed to height not shorter than 3 inches, all edges and borders are trimmed, clippings are blown off of all hard surfaces, walkways, and patios.
Do you offer one time lawn cutting?
We do our best to help everyone out. If your property is along one of our routes and we have enough notice, we will try to squeeze you in.
Is there a contract for the season?
No contracts. We require a one week notice to cancel services.
What day does my lawn get cut each week?
We give you the same two day window each week. We use a two day window to account for days that we have inclement weather. We do our best to arrive the same day and time each week.
Do I need to be home when the crew arrives?
No. As long as we can access all lawn areas on the property, you do not need to be present. Our crews leave the property secured as it was when we arrived.
Do you offer Bi-weekly lawn cutting services?
Clients have the option of dropping service to bi weekly visits for the months of July and August if the growth has significantly slowed down. This is not recommended if the lawn is being watered, and or fertilized throughout the season. If the lawn has grown to 6 inches or more, we implement the double cutting fee.
What if the grass is overgrown?
Overgrown or neglected lawns (6 inches or longer) will require a double cutting and will be subject to a double charge for that one service. This means the grass is cut a second time going the opposite way to ensure all grass is cut and that clippings are mulched up to ensure as clean a look as possible.
Do you cut in the rain?
Our equipment is top notch, and can handle lawn cutting in wet conditions without sacrificing quality. If there is a significant amount of rain, or extreme weather, we will reschedule cutting for the following day or day before for safety reasons
How short do you cut the grass?
Our crews cut grass no shorter than 3 inches. This is the optimal length for the climate and species of grass we have here in Ontario. You may request that the crew cuts the grass to be left longer if preferred.
What are the payment options?
Payments are accepted via credit card on file. For new clients, the first service is billed once completed, then we bill on a bi weekly basis going forward for all services completed. You can also save 5% off of all your services by paying up front for the season.
Is there anything I need to do before the crew arrives?
We require that lawn ornaments, toys, and pet waste are picked up from the lawn prior to our arrival. The crew will move patio furniture and items off of the lawn to complete the service if needed. The re-placing of items back onto the lawn will be the responsibility of the homeowner.
If I forget to cancel a service and the crew cannot complete the service upon arrival, am I still charged for the service?
If the crew arrives and cannot complete the service due to obstacles left on the lawn, or excessive pet waste, you may be charged 50% of the service fee.
